THE BRIEF: Transform a dated living room into a modern and stylish space, using vintage furniture, for relaxing with family and entertaining friends.

THE DESIGN: moving from a traditional to a modern home, the living room furniture and style was no longer suitable and needed refreshing. The existing vintage furniture was key to the new design and was modernised without altering its integrity of period style. Another key feature of the room was the traditional fireplace that was replaced with a sleek and contemporary letterbox fire. It’s now an elegant and stylish living room to enjoy with family and entertain friends.

WHAT THE OWNER HAD TO SAY: this is ‘Dad’s Den’ where I can relax and enjoy a box set. It’s also a comfortable and fashionable space to entertain our friends and family.
